Autumn visits

Christian Messier and Michael Papaik recently visited our group in the context of different collaborations. In late September, Dr. Michael Papaik spent a few days with us working on the parametrization of the SORTIE model that we are using to analyse the dynamics of mountain mixed forests in the view of global change (Aitor Ameztegui's PhD). In mid-October, we also received Dr Christian Messier, from the Centre for Forest Research, who is also collaborating with us in different projects.

Both visits were highly profitable for us! As you can see in the picture, there was also time for a bit of mushroom hunting!
